Haute Glue

was a monthly reccuring show at Blackwater Bar in Portland, OR, produced & hosted by Mars, running from November 2018 through February 2020. The show was a curation of drag artists, with no theme, brought together to showcase whatever art needed to come through them at the moment. Haute Glue held space for experimentation, for processing, for being silly, for grieving, and for changing. 

In March & April of 2020, it was converted into 2 video art episodes. After deciding to stop the monthly project, Mars began working on a feature length film “elegy” in collaboration with cinematographer Max Little to fully put the show to rest, which premiered in December of 2021, titled Goodbye Haute Glue.
